Louisa Ellen Carey-Brown
I am a commercially minded senior Quantitative specialist with over 15 years’ experience. I have researched almost every category and have used a broad range of research methodologies, spanning global and domestic work.
My areas of speciality are communications and design testing, brand health assessment and tracking, category 'deep dives' (U&A) and customer research.
Having developed a passion for brand and communications research during my 7 years at Hall & Partners, I moved to set up and lead the quantitative offering – and later the Leeds based office - for Relish Research, where I spent almost 6 years contributing significantly to the growth of the business.
In 2017, I decided to go freelance – enabling me to do what I do best; spending quality time with clients, getting stuck into project work, immersing myself in data analysis and teasing out the insight that truly helps businesses grow and thrive.
My emphasis is on delivering clear, impactful and action-focused outputs, and helping clients disseminate findings through the business via clear data story-telling.
In addition to working directly with clients and creative agencies, I can also provide support for research agencies in need of quantitative freelance help. Help can be provided at any stage of the project; from writing proposals and questionnaires, to dealing with suppliers, managing fieldwork, conducting data analysis, charting and writing whole presentations, through to presenting data. I can run entire projects or work on individual tasks, and can work in the background or consult directly with clients as required.
