Ishleen Kaur

I am an illustrator and communication designer with a keen interest in building visually
compelling brand stories!

I have completed my bachelor's from National Institute of Fashion Technology,
Mumbai, India with experience in working on several creative projects in and outside of
college. I am delighted to start my Master's this September in the field of Digital Design
Futures (MA) in the University of Leeds.
I believe in imbuing empathy and sharing stories through my designs.

While working with UNICEF for their 'Youth Mediathon' project under the guidance of the Giphy studios team, I got a chance to create a global, socially impactful project for World
Children's Day & World Mental Health Day 2021around mental health with a team of
young artists from across the world.

During my Summer Internship at Zomato, one of the leading food service platforms in
India, I contributed to some integral branding campaigns and expanded my horizons to
take lead as a designer.

My experience as a Social Media Designer for The Strategists Agency, along with freelance projects with various clients equip me with the expertise and skills required to work efficiently in teams as well as individually.

Apart from that, my NFT artworks and experience in the Metaverse as an XR visual designer define how
I am constantly evolving in the dynamic world of design and technology.

With my experience and skillset, I hope to bring fresh ideas and perspective my projects and clients while we create impactful and efficient designs. I am looking for opportunities
alongside my studies as an international student.
